HANNAH AVERY

About Me

H. Avery is a theatre practitioner from Suwanee, GA. They hold a BA in Theatre Arts with minors in Musical Theatre and Dance. Their career has taken them from dancing in the woods at Jacob's Pillow, trying out the trapeze at a Camp Pillsbury, teaching and dorm parenting at The Webb School, all the way to swimming in waterfalls at Kitchen Theatre Company. Most Recently; working at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center!

 

Avery is extremely passionate about creating ethical, high quality work and working towards a more inclusive and accessible theatre industry. Recent credits include The Thing About Me (Playwright, Playground Experiment), Something Blue Staged Reading (Joelle, Walking on Water Productions), Do You Feel Anger? (Assistant Director, Kitchen Theatre Company), and The Closed Door Disorder (Playwright, Wildwood Theatre).

When the spotlights are off, Avery enjoys learning languages, crocheting, writing, cooking, accessibility advocacy, and working on independent projects.
